Celebrate success

Actions speak louder than words!  That’s why when we win a major new order, secure a new blue chip customer account, break through the £1 million turnover barrier or achieve some other; notable, customer related success – we should celebrate!

Nothing overly elaborate or expensive is needed – just a small celebration at lunchtime or at the end of the day with a few cakes or glass of wine.  The message this sends out within your company is loud and clear – customer focus really does matter, delighting customers and making breakthroughs in the market is what business is really about.

All too often we don’t celebrate our successes – but we do highlight our failures and point the finger of blame.  Then we wonder why people don’t go the extra mile for our customers.

Give it a try.  Celebrate success – you might just find more success will then come your way.
